There are few moments in Star Wars as unexpectedly brilliant as Chewbacca lumbering through Cloud City with C-3PO strapped to his back in pieces, gold limbs poking out of a net in every direction while Threepio complained about every step. It is, somehow, one of the most endearing images in the entire saga.

Hot Toys’ Chewbacca with Disassembled C-3PO 1/6 Scale Collectible Figure recreates that iconic moment from Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back in extraordinary detail, and it is one of the most characterful sets in the entire Hot Toys Star Wars lineup.

The Chewbacca figure features a newly developed head sculpt with separate rolling eyeballs and an articulated jaw, finished with a greatly detailed brown and blonde shag hairstyle crafted from wool material across the entire head, and multiple shades of brown fabric hair throughout the body. Standing approximately 36cm tall with over 30 points of articulation, Chewie is fully poseable and comes equipped with his signature bowcaster, a blaster, a distressed brown bandolier bag, and a set of handcuffs.

The real showstopper is the disassembled C-3PO included in the set. Each part is finished with premium chrome application, with the head featuring a working LED light-up function that brings Threepio to life even in pieces. The set includes the upper torso and right arm with articulated function, upper leg with left forearm, upper leg with lower left leg, and a right foot.

Completing the display is a net for recreating the exact moment Chewbacca carries C-3PO on his back, alongside a specially designed themed figure stand with the Star Wars logo and character nameplate.
