Some rivalries need an essay to explain. This one doesn’t. On one side, the Yoroni — towering Brutes, big, mighty, and built to brawl head-on with anything the battlefield throws at them. On the other, the W’adrhŭn — beasts straight out of deep time, riding raptors and commanding the skies with monstrous, feathered terror.

This Two Player Battle Box is the most cost-effective way for you and a friend to dive straight into Conquest: Last Argument of Kings, with proposed scenarios designed to ease both players into the system from the very first game.

The W’adrhŭn arrive with genuinely striking attention to detail — accurate feathering across their many Dinos brings a level of sculpting realism that sets this 9th Faction apart. The army is led by the majestic flying monster the Quatl, commanding a Hunting Pack alongside a stand of Raptor Riders ready to tear across the battlefield.

The Yoroni bring a completely different challenge. As a faction built around flexibility, beginners can activate any unit with any Command Card — removing the early mistakes that often frustrate new players — while more experienced commanders can begin matching Ideal Cards to Unit Types for greater power. The set includes the character Daimyo, who leads the Brute stands of Oni Ayakashi, Tengo Bush, and Kami Akumi into battle.

Two entirely new Faction Rule concepts make their debut with the Yoroni. Every Character or Regiment belongs to one of five Types, each carrying its own Ideal Card — and while any Ideal Card can activate any Regiment, matching a card to a Regiment of the same Type unlocks additional abilities. Sequencing your activations carefully becomes the difference between victory and defeat. The Yoroni also introduce Modular Regiments — build your own Regiment combinations from the available Stands, provided one is designated Leader and at least half the Stands match it.

This set is fully equipped for two players from the moment you open the box — with two complete copies of everything needed for both First Blood skirmish play and full Last Argument of Kings rank and flank battles.
